# Fehlercode fail (-1) nicht spezifischer Fehler

Beim Öffnen einer SSH-Verbindung in Remote Desktop Manager kann die folgende Fehlermeldung erscheinen: `An unexpected error has occurred: Error code FAIL (-1) non specific error`.

### Lösung

Remote Desktop Manager verfügt nun über eine Auswahl an Algorithmen für den Sitzungstyp SSH. Bitte beachten Sie, dass die unsicheren Algorithmen nicht standardmäßig aktiviert sind. Wir empfehlen daher, die Algorithmen aus Sicherheitsgründen direkt auf Ihrem Server zu überprüfen. Andernfalls können Sie die folgenden Schritte ausführen, um dieses Problem zu lösen.

Setzen Sie im Reiter ***Erweitert*** Ihrer Sitzung die Option ***Algorithmusunterstützung*** auf ***Benutzerdefiniert*** und markieren Sie den bzw. die fehlenden Algorithmen in der Liste.

Möglicherweise muss Remote Desktop Manager neu gestartet werden, damit die Lösungen wirksam werden.

Es ist auch möglich, alle Algorithmen in Remote Desktop Manager global über das Menü ***Datei – Einstellungen – Eintragstypen – Sitzungen – Terminal – Algorithmusunterstützung*** wieder zu aktivieren.

Wenn Sie nach dem Aktivieren des Algorithmus noch immer keine Verbindung herstellen können, gehen Sie im Eintrag in den Reiter ***Eigenschaften – Erweitert*** und markieren Sie ***Einrichtung der Umgebungsvariablen überspringen***.
