# IP-Variablen

$IP$-Variablen müssen den DNS-Server kontaktieren, um eine IP zurückzugeben. Dies kann zu Leistungsproblemen führen oder die IP überhaupt nicht zurückgeben. Um dies zu verhindern, verwenden Sie $INFORMATION\_IP$ – oder eine ihrer vielen Varianten –, um die im Eintrag konfigurierte IP-Adresse aufzulösen und zurückzugeben.

Um eine IP-Adresse auf diese Weise zu konfigurieren, klicken Sie mit der rechten Maustaste auf einen Eintrag und gehen Sie dann zu ***Eigenschaften*** – ***Asset*** – ***Netzwerk***.
