# HP iLO-Einträge

***HP iLO***- und ***HP iLO (web)***-Einträge werden manchmal miteinander verwechselt, obwohl sie unterschiedliche Funktionen und Funktionalitäten aufweisen. Zur besseren Unterscheidung befinden sich die Eintragstypen in unterschiedlichen Bereichen des Fensters ***Neuen Eintrag hinzufügen*** (***Remote-Verbindungen*** bzw. ***Remote-Verwaltung und -Überwachung***).

### HP iLO

***HP iLO***-Einträge ermöglichen den Zugriff auf die spezifische HP iLO-Remote-Konsole eines Servers und gewähren die Fernsteuerung des Servers unabhängig von seinem Betriebssystem oder Betriebszustand.

***HP iLO (web)***-Einträge fungieren als angepasste, erweiterte Dashboard-Sitzung für HP iLO-Verwaltungsseiten. Benutzer können von dort ebenfalls auf Remote-Konsolen zugreifen, jedoch mit einem eingeschränkteren Erlebnis als bei einer direkten Öffnung über einen HP iLO-Eintrag.
