# Dell iDRAC-Einträge

**Dell iDRAC**- und ***Dell iDRAC (web)***-Einträge werden manchmal miteinander verwechselt, obwohl sie unterschiedliche Funktionen und Funktionalitäten aufweisen. Um sie besser unterscheiden zu können, befinden sich die Eintragstypen in verschiedenen Abschnitten des Fensters ***Neuen Eintrag hinzufügen*** (***Sitzung*** bzw. ***Remoteverwaltung***).

### Dell iDRAC

Ein ***Dell iDRAC***-Eintrag ermöglicht den Zugriff auf die Remote-Konsole eines Dell PowerEdge-Servers und gewährt die Kontrolle über den Server unabhängig von seinem Betriebssystem oder Betriebszustand.

### Dell iDRAC (web)

Ein ***Dell iDRAC (web)***-Eintrag erlaubt dem Benutzer, sich zu verbinden und sich dann bei einem iDRAC-Web-Management-Portal anzumelden. Konsolen können von dort ebenfalls aufgerufen werden, jedoch mit einem eingeschränkteren Erlebnis, als wenn sie direkt über einen ***Dell iDRAC***-Eintrag geöffnet würden.
