# Installation der .net-Runtime als Voraussetzung für stille MDM-Installationen

Um Installationsfehler zu vermeiden, bündelt Devolutions die .NET-Runtime nicht mit dem Remote Desktop Manager-Installationsprogramm. Stattdessen kann das Installationsprogramm die erforderliche Runtime bei Bedarf als Voraussetzung herunterladen und installieren.

Diese Funktionalität ist nur verfügbar, wenn der Parameter `INSTALL_DOTNET_RUNTIME="1"` an den Befehl `msiexec` angehängt wird. Ohne diesen Parameter wird der Schritt zur Runtime-Installation nicht ausgelöst.

Während des Installationsvorgangs prüft das System zunächst, ob bereits eine kompatible Version der .NET Windows Desktop Runtime installiert ist. Wird eine kompatible Version erkannt, versucht das Installationsprogramm nicht, eine weitere Version zu installieren.

Wird keine kompatible Runtime gefunden, versucht das Installationsprogramm, den Download-Link für die neueste Version direkt von Microsoft abzurufen. Schlägt dieser Abruf fehl, wird stattdessen eine statisch konfigurierte Runtime-Version verwendet. Das Runtime-Installationsprogramm wird vom CDN von Microsoft an einen temporären Speicherort heruntergeladen und anschließend ausgeführt.

Ein Fehlschlagen der Runtime-Installation führt nicht dazu, dass die Installation von Remote Desktop Manager selbst fehlschlägt. Zusätzlich enthält der Runtime-Installationsvorgang ein Timeout von 3 Minuten, um zu verhindern, dass die gesamte Installation bei langsamer Netzwerkverbindung oder anderen verbindungsbezogenen Problemen hängen bleibt.

Während dieser Vorgang in Umgebungen wie Intune oder anderen MDM-Lösungen im Allgemeinen problemlos funktioniert, können bei interaktiven Installationen Fehler auftreten, wenn das Installationsprogramm ohne Administratorrechte ausgeführt wird.
