# Google Authenticator 2-Faktor-Authentifizierung konfigurieren

Remote Desktop Manager bietet die Möglichkeit, Google Authenticator zu verwenden, um beim Start der Anwendung eine zusätzliche Sicherheitsebene bereitzustellen.

Stellen Sie vor Beginn der Konfiguration sicher, dass Sie die [Google Authenticator-Anwendung](https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/1066447?hl=en) auf Ihrem Mobilgerät installiert haben.

1. Klicken Sie auf ***Datei – Einstellungen – Sicherheit*** und wählen Sie ***Require a TOTP validation (Devolutions Password Manager or Google Authenticator)*** im Abschnitt ***2-factor authentication*** aus. Klicken Sie dann auf ***Configure***, um Ihre Google-Authentifizierung einzurichten.
2. Scannen Sie den QR-Code auf Ihrem Bildschirm mit der Google Authenticator-Anwendung, um Remote Desktop Manager in Google Authenticator einzurichten. Wenn Remote Desktop Manager in Google Authenticator konfiguriert ist, geben Sie den von Google Authenticator bereitgestellten Validierungscode in Remote Desktop Manager ein.
3. Wenn der Validierungscode eingegeben wurde, klicken Sie auf ***Validate*** und dann auf ***Ok***.
4. Starten Sie Remote Desktop Manager neu, damit Sie zur Eingabe des Google Authenticator-Codes aufgefordert werden.
