# Devolutions Password Manager Multi-Faktor-Authentifizierung konfigurieren

Remote Desktop Manager bietet die Möglichkeit, Devolutions Password Manager zu verwenden, um beim Start der Anwendung eine zusätzliche Sicherheitsebene bereitzustellen.

1. Klicken Sie auf ***Datei – Einstellungen – Sicherheit*** und wählen Sie im Abschnitt ***Multi-Faktor-Authentifizierung*** die Option ***Eine TOTP-Validierung erfordern (Devolutions Password Manager oder Google Authenticator)***. Klicken Sie anschließend auf ***Konfigurieren***, um Ihre TOTP-Validierung einzurichten.
2. Scannen Sie den QR-Code auf Ihrem Bildschirm mit Devolutions Password Manager, um Remote Desktop Manager einzurichten. Geben Sie den von Devolutions Password Manager bereitgestellten ***Validierungscode*** in Remote Desktop Manager ein.
3. Klicken Sie auf ***Validieren*** und dann auf ***OK***.
4. Starten Sie Remote Desktop Manager neu, um zur Eingabe des Devolutions Password Manager-Codes aufgefordert zu werden.
