# YubiKey

Remote Desktop Manager ermöglicht Ihnen die Verwendung eines ***YubiKey***, um beim Öffnen einer Datenquelle eine zusätzliche Sicherheitsebene bereitzustellen.

Bevor Sie mit der Konfiguration beginnen, stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie einen ***YubiKey*** besitzen.

1. Falls noch nicht geschehen, befolgen Sie diese [Konfigurationsschritte für die Multifaktor-Authentifizierung](/rdm/de/getting-started/workspaces/multifactor-authentication.md).
2. Nachdem Sie den MFA-Typ ***YubiKey*** ausgewählt haben, klicken Sie auf ***Configure***.
3. Stecken Sie den ***YubiKey*** in einen USB-Anschluss Ihres Computers.
4. Halten Sie die goldene Taste des ***YubiKey*** gedrückt, damit der Code in das Feld eingetragen wird.
5. Klicken Sie auf ***Save***.
6. Starten Sie Remote Desktop Manager neu, um zur Eingabe eines ***YubiKey***-Codes aufgefordert zu werden.

### Copy to YubiKey

Wenn Sie einen YubiKey mit Ihrem System verbinden, erscheint ***Copy to YubiKey*** im Inhaltsbereich von Anmeldeinformations-Einträgen. Ein Klick auf die Schaltfläche kopiert den Inhalt des Eintrags automatisch auf Ihren Schlüssel.

Copy to YubiKey programmiert ein statisches Passwort in einen YubiKey-OTP-Slot. Dabei werden alle bereits in diesem Slot vorhandenen Anmeldeinformationen dauerhaft überschrieben.

Wenn der Slot ein Yubico OTP enthält, das für MFA verwendet wird, einschließlich der Anmeldung bei Remote Desktop Manager, funktionieren die Anmeldungen nicht mehr. Dasselbe gilt für andere Konten, die diese Anmeldeinformationen verwenden. Sie können die ursprünglichen Anmeldeinformationen nicht wiederherstellen.

Verwenden Sie einen leeren Slot. Überschreiben Sie niemals einen Slot, auf den Sie für die Authentifizierung angewiesen sind.
