# Eine Datenquelle sperren

Um sensible Daten in Ihrer Datenquellenkonfiguration zu schützen (z. B. Server-URL oder Anmeldeinformationen), möchten Sie die Datenquellenkonfiguration möglicherweise sperren, bevor Sie sie für Ihre Benutzer bereitstellen. Sie können dies mit der Schaltfläche ***Sperren/Entsperren*** in der Symbolleiste tun.

Die gesperrte Datenquelle erfordert ein Passwort. Das Passwort muss angegeben werden, wenn die Sperre angewendet wird. Verwenden Sie dasselbe Passwort, um sie zu entsperren oder die Datenquellenkonfiguration zu ändern.

Es gibt keine Möglichkeit, die Datenquelle zu entsperren, wenn das Passwort verloren oder vergessen wurde. In einem solchen Fall müssen Sie eine neue Datenquelle konfigurieren. Der Inhalt der Datenbank geht jedoch nicht verloren.
