# Einstellungen überschreiben

Überschreiben Sie die Konfiguration bestimmter Einstellungen, ohne bestehende Einträge dauerhaft zu ändern. Anstatt einen Eintrag zu duplizieren, um einen einzelnen Wert zu ändern, ermöglichen Überschreibungen die Wiederverwendung desselben Eintrags mit Ihren Anpassungen, wodurch die Datenquelle aufgeräumt bleibt und die ursprüngliche Konfiguration erhalten wird.

In Remote Desktop Manager bieten Überschreibungen Administratoren Flexibilität im Alltag: Wenden Sie kontextspezifische Änderungen beim Start oder für eine Aufgabe an und verwenden Sie den gemeinsamen Eintrag anschließend für alle anderen unverändert weiter. Dies hilft, Konfigurationen zu standardisieren und gleichzeitig Unordnung und Wartungsaufwand zu reduzieren.
