# Placering af konfigurationsfilen

Find og tilsidesæt placeringen af konfigurationsfilen for Remote Desktop Manager på Windows og macOS, herunder opsætninger med Remote Desktop Services.

Remote Desktop Manager gemmer sin konfiguration i en fil med navnet `RemoteDesktopManager.cfg`. Filen indeholder de fleste af programindstillingerne. De kan finde installationsmappen for Remote Desktop Manager ved at klikke på ***Fil*** – ***Indstillinger*** – ***Avanceret***. Et hyperlink viser installationsmappen under fanen ***Information***.

Konfigurationsfilen kan ligge i forskellige mapper afhængigt af bestemte betingelser.

### Tilsidesæt standardstien

Der er to måder at ændre den mappe på, hvor konfigurationsfilen gemmes:

1. Opret en fil med navnet "**Override.cfg**" i programmappen. Remote Desktop Manager åbner filen og læser den første linje. Den skal indeholde den ønskede installationsmappe (uden filnavnet). Hvis De vil bruge den aktuelle installationssti, skal De sætte et punktum i filen. Her er nogle eksempler:

2. Ved at tilføje en nøgle i registreringsdatabasen: CurrentUser\SOFTWARE\RemoteDesktopManager, OptionPath. Angiv den ønskede sti i nøglen OptionPath. Værdien må ikke indeholde filnavnet, kun stien.

2. Klik på ***Gå*** i menuen.

5. Åbn mappen **com.devolutions.remotedesktopmanager**.
6. Find filen **RemoteDesktopManager.cfg** eller **RemoteDesktopManagerFree.cfg**.
