# VPNs, tunnels, gateways, and proxies

VPNs, tunnels, gateways, and proxies control the network path to targets and can be launched automatically to secure remote sessions. In Remote Desktop Manager, attach these components to folders or sessions and inherit them across your structure to remove duplication. Combine with Devolutions Gateway for just-in-time access and auditability.
