Set-RDMEntryParameter

Synopsis

Edit a parameter of a command-type entry.

Syntax

ByPosition

Set-RDMEntryParameter -InputObject <PSConnection> -Position <int> [-NewLabel <string>]
[-Type <CmdParamDataType>] [-Value <string>] [-Set] [-PassThru] [-VaultMode <VaultMode>]
 [-ForcePromptAnswer <DialogResult[]>] [-WhatIf] [-Confirm] [<CommonParameters>]

ByLabel

Set-RDMEntryParameter -InputObject <PSConnection> -Label <string> [-NewLabel <string>]
[-Type <CmdParamDataType>] [-Value <string>] [-Set] [-PassThru] [-VaultMode <VaultMode>]
 [-ForcePromptAnswer <DialogResult[]>] [-WhatIf] [-Confirm] [<CommonParameters>]

Description

Edit the Label, Type, or Value of an existing parameter in place. The parameter's Position ({n} token) is preserved. Target by -Position for a single parameter, or by -Label to apply to all case-insensitive matches. Applies to CommandLine, PowerShell, ReportTool, and SessionTool entries. Use -Set to persist the change immediately.

Examples

Example 1

Change the value of the first extra parameter and save.

Example 2

Rename all parameters labelled Region (case-insensitive) and save.
