# Get-DSPamLog

Get-DSPamLog retrieves Devolutions Server PAM activity log entries, optionally filtered by message type, date range, credential, vault, or user.

### Synopsis

Get PAM activity logs.

### Syntax

#### \_\_AllParameterSets

```
Get-DSPamLog [-DateFilter <DateFilter>] [-After <datetime>] [-Before <datetime>]
 [-MessageType <ConnectionLogMessage[]>] [-CredentialID <guid>] [-VaultID <guid>]
 [-UserID <string[]>] [-IncludePamSystem] [<CommonParameters>]
```

### Description

Get PAM activity logs from the server. Optionally filter by message type, date range, credential, vault, or user. If no date filter is applied, log entries from the last 7 days are fetched. Returns all matching log entries.

### Examples

#### Example 1

```powershell
PS C:\> Get-DSPamLog -MessageType PamCheckoutAdded, PamCheckoutEnded, PamPasswordViewed
```

Gets checkout and password view events from the last 7 days (default).

#### Example 2

```powershell
PS C:\> $before = (Get-Date '2025-03-31').AddDays(1).AddMilliseconds(-1)
PS C:\> Get-DSPamLog -DateFilter Custom -After '2025-01-01' -Before $before
```

Gets all PAM log entries for Q1 2025. Since -Before defaults to midnight, $before is set to 23:59:59.999 to include the full last day.

#### Example 3

```powershell
PS C:\> Get-DSPamLog -DateFilter Last30Days -MessageType PamCredentialSync,PamCredentialAdded | Export-Csv -Path imports.csv
```

Gets PAM account import/sync events from the last 30 days and exports to CSV.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.devolutions.net/powershell/powershell-commands/get-dspamlog.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
