Enable-RDMTelemetry

Synopsis

Enable telemetry for the PowerShell module.

Syntax

__AllParameterSets

Enable-RDMTelemetry [<CommonParameters>]

Description

Enable telemetry for the PowerShell module. This allows Remote Desktop Manager to collect anonymous usage statistics to help improve the product. The setting is persisted in the PowerShellOverride.cfg configuration file and will apply to all future PowerShell sessions. Note: Group Policy Object (GPO) settings have priority over this configuration. If the NoInternetConnection or DisableAnalytics policies are enabled, telemetry will remain disabled regardless of this setting.

Examples

Example 1

PS C:\> Enable-RDMTelemetry

Enables telemetry data collection for the Devolutions.PowerShell module.

Example 2

PS C:\> Enable-RDMTelemetry
PS C:\> Get-RDMEntry

Enables telemetry and then retrieves entries. Usage statistics will now be collected.
