# Verwaltung von Secrets

Die **Verwaltung von Geheimnissen** in der privilegierten Zugriffsverwaltung (PAM) konzentriert sich auf das sichere Speichern, Kontrollieren und [Rotieren](/pam/de/concepts/password-rotation.md) sensibler Informationen wie administrativer Passwörter, API-Schlüssel und Zertifikate. Sie ist ein grundlegender Aspekt beim Schutz von [privilegierten Konten](/pam/de/concepts/privileged-account.md) und bei der Minimierung des Risikos von Diebstahl oder Missbrauch von Anmeldeinformationen.

In Devolutions PAM werden Geheimnisse sicher in PAM-Tresoren gespeichert und können für die automatische Rotation und den Ablauf konfiguriert werden. Mit [Just-in-Time-Zugriff](https://github.com/Devolutions/docs/tree/master/translations/de/pam/concepts/just-in-time-elevation.md) können Benutzer temporären Zugriff auf ein Geheimnis anfordern, ohne das Passwort jemals einzusehen.
