# Geringste Rechte

Das Prinzip der **geringsten Rechte** (Principle of Least Privilege, PoLP) ist ein grundlegendes Sicherheitskonzept, das erfordert, dass Benutzern, Anwendungen und Systemen nur der minimal notwendige Zugriff gewährt wird, um ihre Aufgaben zu erfüllen. Dies begrenzt die potenzielle Auswirkung kompromittierter Konten oder Software-Schwachstellen und hilft Organisationen, das Risiko zu kontrollieren und sensible Ressourcen zu schützen.

In der Praxis kann Least Privilege durch [Just-in-Time (JIT)-Rechteerhebung](https://github.com/Devolutions/docs/tree/master/translations/de/pam/concepts/just-in-time-elevation.md) verstärkt werden, die temporären, zeitlich begrenzten Zugriff auf [privilegierte Konten](/pam/de/concepts/privileged-account.md) oder Systeme nur dann bereitstellt, wenn er benötigt wird. Dies reduziert dauerhafte Berechtigungen und vereinfacht das Auditing.

Least Privilege unterscheidet sich von [Zero Standing Privilege (ZSP)](/pam/de/concepts/zero-standing-privilege.md), das darauf abzielt, jeglichen dauerhaften privilegierten Zugriff vollständig zu eliminieren und sich ausschließlich auf JIT-Zugriff verlässt. Während beide Ansätze die Angriffsfläche reduzieren, umfasst Least Privilege häufig statische, aber begrenzte Zugriffsrechte, während ZSP das vollständige Fehlen von Basisberechtigungen anstrebt.
