# Verwaltung von Berechtigungen in der Cloud-Infrastruktur

**Cloud Infrastructure Entitlement Management** (CIEM) ist eine Sicherheits- und Governance-Praxis, die Organisationen dabei hilft, Benutzerberechtigungen und Zugriffsrechte in komplexen Cloud-Umgebungen zu verwalten. CIEM-Lösungen bieten Transparenz und Kontrolle darüber, wer Zugriff auf welche Ressourcen hat, und reduzieren so das Risiko übermäßiger Rechte sowie versehentlichen oder böswilligen Missbrauchs.

CIEM umfasst typischerweise Funktionen wie die Erkennung von Berechtigungen, die Analyse von Berechtigungen und die Durchsetzung von Richtlinien über mehrere Cloud-Plattformen hinweg. Es hilft, [Least Privilege](/pam/de/concepts/least-privilege.md) sicherzustellen, indem ungenutzte oder riskante Berechtigungen identifiziert und entzogen werden und indem Richtlinien durchgesetzt werden, die den Sicherheitsstandards der Organisation entsprechen.

Devolutions PAM ist zwar keine dedizierte CIEM-Plattform, ergänzt CIEM-Praktiken jedoch durch die Verwaltung privilegierter Zugriffe auf sensible Systeme und Ressourcen. Beispielsweise kann Devolutions PAM bei der Integration mit Cloud-Diensten oder in hybriden Umgebungen den Zugriff auf kritische Infrastruktur zentralisieren und kontrollieren und so eine umfassendere Governance von Cloud-Berechtigungen unterstützen.
