# CI/CD-Automatisierung

Die **CI/CD-Automatisierung** ist eine zentrale DevOps-Praxis, die die Softwarebereitstellung durch die Automatisierung der Integrations- und Bereitstellungsprozesse optimiert. Im Kontext von privilegiertem Zugriff und der Verwaltung von Anmeldeinformationen benötigen CI/CD-Pipelines häufig Zugriff auf APIs und Dienste, wofür traditionell fest in Skripten oder Konfigurationsdateien hinterlegte Anmeldeinformationen verwendet wurden. Diese Praxis birgt erhebliche Sicherheitsrisiken.

Durch die Integration sicherer Tresore und des automatisierten Einfügens von Anmeldeinformationen ersetzt die CI/CD-Automatisierung statische Anmeldeinformationen durch dynamische, zentral verwaltete. Dadurch wird sichergestellt, dass Anmeldeinformationen niemals in Quellcode oder Konfigurationsdateien offengelegt werden. Produkte wie Devolutions PAM und Devolutions Server können diesen Prozess unterstützen, indem sie den Zugriff auf Geheimnisse vermitteln und diese erst zur Laufzeit einfügen.
