# Kontoopdagelse

Kontoopdagelse i Devolutions PAM identificerer konti fra eksterne identitetsudbydere, så de kan sikres, overvåges og lægges i en boks.

**Kontoopdagelse** er processen med at identificere konti fra eksterne [identitetsudbydere](/pam/da/concepts/identity-provider.md), så de kan sikres, overvåges og administreres af en løsning til administration af privilegeret adgang som Devolutions PAM. Disse identiteter kan repræsentere personer eller tjenester og kan have form af brugerlegitimationsoplysninger, certifikater eller registrerede programmer, f.eks. [Microsoft Entra ID-programmer](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/identity-platform/app-objects-and-service-principals?tabs=browser).

Hver opdaget konto repræsenterer en unik identitet, der er knyttet til bestemte adgangsrettigheder og autorisationsniveauer. En Active Directory-konto til en HR-medarbejder eller et certifikat, der er knyttet til en webserver, kan f.eks. blive fundet under opdagelsesprocessen.
