# Granjas de Devolutions Gateway

El propósito de la función de granjas de Devolutions Gateway es agrupar varios gateways en una única granja para equilibrar la carga de las sesiones que pasan por cada gateway. Al utilizar esta función, las sesiones se distribuirán entre ellos según la configuración de la granja:

* **La distribución de la carga** ayuda a evitar la sobrecarga de un gateway concreto. Anteriormente, para una entrada determinada, se podía configurar un gateway, pero todas las conexiones de esa sesión pasaban por él, lo que podía provocar su saturación. Con las granjas, ahora es posible distribuir esta carga para evitar la sobrecarga del servicio y mantener el rendimiento.
* **Alta disponibilidad**, es decir, que la granja ayuda a mantener la disponibilidad continua del servicio. Anteriormente, si un gateway dejaba de estar disponible por cualquier motivo, no era posible establecer una sesión. Con una granja, si un gateway no está disponible, la sesión se dirigirá automáticamente a uno de los otros gateways disponibles de la granja. Esto también puede resultar útil para tareas de mantenimiento o actualizaciones, ya que se puede desconectar temporalmente un gateway mientras otro activo sigue prestando el servicio.
