# Devolutions Gateway-Farmen

Der Zweck der Devolutions Gateway-Farmen-Funktion besteht darin, mehrere Gateways unter einer einzigen Farm zu gruppieren, um die Last der Sitzungen zu verteilen, die durch jedes Gateway laufen. Mit dieser Funktion werden Sitzungen gemäß der Konfiguration der Farm unter ihnen verteilt:

* Die Lastverteilung hilft dabei, eine Überlastung eines bestimmten Gateways zu vermeiden. Bisher konnte für einen bestimmten Eintrag ein Gateway konfiguriert werden, aber alle Verbindungen für diese Sitzung liefen darüber, was potenziell zu einer Sättigung führen konnte. Mit Farmen ist es nun möglich, diese Last zu verteilen, um eine Überlastung des Dienstes zu verhindern und die Leistung aufrechtzuerhalten.
* Hohe Verfügbarkeit, das heißt, die Farm hilft dabei, eine kontinuierliche Verfügbarkeit des Dienstes aufrechtzuerhalten. Bisher war es nicht möglich, eine Sitzung aufzubauen, wenn ein Gateway aus irgendeinem Grund nicht verfügbar war. Mit einer Farm wird die Sitzung automatisch an eines der anderen verfügbaren Gateways in der Farm geleitet, wenn ein Gateway nicht verfügbar ist. Dies kann auch für Wartungsarbeiten oder Updates nützlich sein, da ein Gateway vorübergehend offline genommen werden kann, während ein aktives Gateway weiterhin den Dienst bereitstellt.
