Application policies in Workspace desktop app allow administrators to define how the application behaves across different environments and user scenarios.
Workspace desktop app must be run in administrator mode for the Policies folder to be visible in the Workspace installation folder.
Go to your policies subfolder. By default, the path is
C:\Program Files\Devolutions\Workspace\Policies\en-US.Copy the
Devolutions.admxfile.Go to
C:\Windows\PolicyDefinitions.Paste the
Devolutions.admxfile in the root ofC:\Windows\PolicyDefinitions.Go to
C:\Program Files\Devolutions\Workspace\Policies\en-US.Copy the
Devolutions.admlfile.Paste the
Devolutions.admlfile inC:\Windows\PolicyDefinitions\en-US.Open your Group Policy Editor and go to Computer Configuration – Administrative Templates – Devolutions – Workspace.
Browse the different folders for the desired policies.
Right-click the specific policy, edit it accordingly, and save.
If Workspace desktop app is open when you make this change, then you will need to restart it for the new policy to take effect.
The policies will modify the registry. The path is %Root%\SOFTWARE\Policies\Devolutions\workspace\<policy>.

To access the 'Workspace.mobileConfig' file, run the application on macOS and then go to
/Users/<username>/Library/Containers/net.devolutions.authenticator/Data/Documents/Policies/Workspace.mobileconfig.Modify this file according to the desired policies.

Use an RMM to install the profile, such as Jamf.
