Learn how to convert a legacy certificate entry to an X.509 credential entry. You can also use Advanced search to find certificate entries and convert them in bulk.
It is strongly recommended that you back up your data before proceeding.
Open Remote Desktop Manager.
Press Ctrl and click the certificate entries you want to convert in the navigation pane.
Right-click the selection and select Edit – Edit (special actions) (or do the same in the ribbon).
In the Convert to section, select Convert to X.509 credential entry and click Execute.
Enable Keep folder to retain the certificate in its current location during conversion; leave it disabled to move it to the root of the vault.
Click Convert.
Open Remote Desktop Manager.
Click View – Search – Advanced search in the ribbon (or F11).
Set a condition to Connection type and Certificate (.pfx, .crt, .cer, .p12, .pem).
Click Search.
Press Ctrl and click to select the certificates.
Click Select in navigation pane.
In the navigation pane, right-click the selection and select Edit – Edit (special actions) (or do the same in the ribbon).
In the Convert to section, select Convert to X.509 credential entry and click Execute.
Enable Keep folder to retain the certificate in its current location during conversion; leave it disabled to move it to the root of the vault.
Click Convert.
