# Password policies

***Password policies*** are used to create predefined settings for the password generator of Devolutions Cloud. The option is located in ***Administration*** – ***Management*** – ***Password policies***.

You can set a ***Default policy*** and choose a ***policy enforcement*** for the users. Click the ***Add*** button to create a new password policy.
