# Criteri per le password

I criteri delle password definiscono regole riutilizzabili che controllano come le password vengono generate, applicate e fatte scadere in Devolutions Cloud. In Amministrazione – Criteri delle password, definisce modelli per il generatore di password, inclusi lunghezza, set di caratteri e dizionari di passphrase, e sceglie un criterio predefinito più l'applicazione facoltativa per tutti gli utenti.

I criteri possono includere anche impostazioni di scadenza delle password, in modo che le voci ereditino gli intervalli di rotazione, che si abbinano bene ai report pianificati come Analizzatore password, Voci in scadenza e Voci scadute. Una configurazione tipica applica un criterio di passphrase robusto per le credenziali amministrative e utilizza i report per assicurarsi che le scadenze imminenti siano gestite prima che diventino rischiose.
