# Variablen

Variablen sind dynamische Platzhalter, die beim Start zu kontextspezifischen Werten aufgelöst werden, etwa zu Hostnamen, Benutzernamen oder benutzerdefinierten Feldern. Damit können Sie generische Vorlagen und Skripte erstellen, die sich automatisch an den ausgewählten Eintrag anpassen, ohne sensible Daten fest zu codieren.

Mit einer Devolutions Cloud-Datenquelle unterstützt Remote Desktop Manager einen dedizierten Satz von Variablen für Einträge, Anmeldeinformationen, Kunden, Unternehmen und benutzerdefinierte Felder, die in Devolutions Cloud gespeichert sind. Beispielsweise können Sie in einem Skript oder einem Remote-Tool auf $CUSTOM\_FIELD1$ oder $HOST$ verweisen und Remote Desktop Manager den Wert zur Ausführungszeit aus Devolutions Cloud auflösen lassen, was Automatisierung und Konsistenz verbessert.
