# Einstellungen überschreiben

Mit Override-Einstellungen können Sie bestimmte Konfigurationswerte für einen Eintrag ändern, ohne die ursprüngliche gemeinsam genutzte Konfiguration dauerhaft zu verändern. Anstatt Einträge für jede Umgebung oder Benutzervorliebe zu duplizieren, wenden Overrides temporäre oder eingeschränkte Änderungen an, während die Basiskonfiguration erhalten bleibt.

Wenn Devolutions Cloud als Datenquelle in Remote Desktop Manager verwendet wird, sind Overrides nützlich, um Dinge wie Anmeldeinformationen, Gateways oder Anzeigeoptionen für einen bestimmten Benutzer oder eine bestimmte Playlist anzupassen und dabei weiterhin auf zentralisierte Devolutions Cloud-Daten zurückzugreifen. Ein typisches Szenario ist die Verwendung desselben Devolutions Cloud-Eintrags mit unterschiedlichen Overrides für Anmeldeinformationen in Test- und Produktionsumgebungen aus Remote Desktop Manager.
