# Vererbung

Vererbung ist der Mechanismus, mit dem Einträge und Benutzer Einstellungen oder Berechtigungen automatisch von übergeordneten Objekten übernehmen, anstatt sie jedes Mal neu zu definieren. Typische vererbte Elemente sind Berechtigungen, Standard-Anmeldeinformationen sowie Gateway- oder Host-Einstellungen, was Konfigurationsabweichungen reduziert und die Sicherheit konsistent hält.

In Devolutions Cloud definieren Systemberechtigungen und Rollen die grundlegenden Rechte auf System- und Tresorebene, während Einträge und Ordner diese verfeinern oder einschränken können. Administratoren können den tatsächlichen Zugriff in den Berechtigungsansichten überprüfen und Rollen oder explizite Überschreibungen anpassen, wenn ein bestimmtes Team oder privilegiertes Konto eine strengere Kontrolle benötigt.
