# Passwortverwaltung

Die Passwortverwaltung in Devolutions Cloud zentralisiert Anmeldeinformationen, Geheimnisse und Zugriffsrichtlinien in gemeinsam genutzten Tresoren anstelle verstreuter persönlicher Passwortspeicher. Einträge können Website-Logins, Server- und Anwendungskonten, API-Schlüssel oder Einmalpasswörter speichern und diese direkt mit Remote-Sitzungen oder anderen Ressourcen verknüpfen.

In Kombination mit Passwortrichtlinien und dem integrierten Generator können Administratoren Anforderungen an Komplexität und Einzigartigkeit durchsetzen, während Rollen und Berechtigungen steuern, wer jedes Geheimnis anzeigen, verwenden oder aktualisieren darf. Ein verbreiteter Ansatz besteht darin, die privilegierten Konten der Administratoren in einem Tresor mit eingeschränktem Zugriff zu halten und Benutzern zu ermöglichen, Verbindungen über Remote Desktop Manager oder Devolutions Password Manager zu starten, ohne die zugrunde liegenden Passwörter jemals zu sehen.
