# Verschlüsselung

Die Verschlüsselung in Devolutions Cloud schützt alle sensiblen Konfigurations- und Eintragsdaten mithilfe von Schlüsseln, die Ihrer Organisation gehören und von ihr verwaltet werden – nicht von Devolutions. Standardmäßig werden in Devolutions Cloud gespeicherte Geheimnisse im Ruhezustand verschlüsselt, und Funktionen wie der Verschlüsselungsdienst erweitern dieses Modell auf SSO-Szenarien, indem sie Ihren Devolutions Cloud-Schlüssel während der Anmeldung entschlüsseln, während die privaten Schlüssel unter Ihrer Kontrolle bleiben.

Besitzer von Devolutions Cloud können bei Bedarf Verschlüsselungsschlüssel rotieren und Konfigurationsdateien neu verschlüsseln. Sie müssen das Notfall-Kit und die Backups der privaten Schlüssel schützen, da diese die einzige Möglichkeit sind, den Zugriff wiederherzustellen, falls Schlüssel verloren gehen. In der Praxis speichern viele Kunden ihr Notfall-Kit und ihren privaten Schlüssel in einem separaten sicheren System und planen dann eine regelmäßige Überprüfung, um sicherzustellen, dass sie Devolutions Cloud in einem Katastrophenfall noch entsperren können.
