# API

Administratoren greifen auf die Devolutions Cloud API hauptsächlich über das Devolutions PowerShell-Modul zu, das Cmdlets zur Verwaltung von Devolutions Cloud-Daten aus PowerShell bereitstellt. Mithilfe von PSHubContext-Objekten authentifizieren sich Skripte mit einem Anwendungsbenutzer und einem Secret und rufen anschließend Befehle auf, um Einträge, Tresore und Benutzer automatisiert zu erstellen, zu aktualisieren oder zu entfernen.

Im täglichen Betrieb wird diese API-Oberfläche verwendet, um Devolutions Cloud in Bereitstellungspipelines, CMDBs oder Berichtssysteme zu integrieren. Beispielsweise können Sie den PowerShell-Skript-Exporttyp nutzen, um JSON- oder CSV-Daten zu erzeugen und in externe Analysesysteme einzuspeisen, oder automatisch neue Projekttresore bereitstellen und Gruppen anhand eines standardisierten Skripts zuweisen.
