# Tasks

Tasks are tracked actions or work items associated with privileged access operations, such as password rotations or account reviews. In the context of privileged access reporting, tasks help demonstrate that policy driven activities are being executed and audited.

When Devolutions Cloud is combined with Devolutions PAM, reports can summarize tasks related to account discovery, checkout approvals, and automated rotations across Devolutions Cloud-based providers. Administrators can then follow up on failed tasks or overdue checks directly from the reporting views.
